When it’s time to give your good friend her last hurrah before she ties the knot, you and any other friends who’ll miss her on your singles nights, will doubtless want to look good. Whether it’s to be a classy black dress affair, or the type of night that gets wild enough for you have to be a bit economical with the truth later, you might as well dress appropriately.

Themed hen parties are very common, and in this case you’ll want your wardrobe to match whatever that focal subject is. If you are the hostess it is important that you don’t make the dress requirements overly formal unless this matches the public venue you may attend. For many private parties, additional activities and themes such as pampered spa treatments and party games may be more conducive to a more casual attire. Given the fact that your friend is about to be a new bride, perhaps a bit of stress reduction is in order, and she’ll find that a dressed-down affair is the perfect way to relax at the same time as she cuts loose.

Hen parties should not be skimpy-dress only, club affairs. Although these are nice in their own right, with such a good opportunity for female bonding, at least one of you (hopefully the bride-to-be) is ready to move past that stage in their lives. Her last fling should be wild enough that they get a good taste of what being single is like, but not to the point that she’ll regret being the main event, so make sure that whatever mode of dress you choose, she’s comfortable.
